Clockwise from top left:
While I was sick (NOT one of my favorite things), the cats snuggled with me on the couch. Gato and Bella are laying on top of me and my super fabulous sherpa throw, in animal print, of course.
Tuesday night, I felt one of the cats jump on the bed and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it was Clover! We took her in from the mean streets of Punta Alley in early October and she has slowly but surely made her way into the family, but this is the first time she's gotten on the bed with us. She initially settled herself in Bella's spot by Aaron's feet, which could have caused a literal cat fight, but later she did move to my side of the bed.
Also important to have while sick: ice cream and the remote. UDF's Homemade Brand has a new limited edition flavor called Sea Salt Caramel and it's freakin' delicious. It has temporarily supplanted Coconut Almond Chip as my #1.
On Monday Aaron made one of our new favorite meals: polenta with sausage, spinach and tomatoes.
This week I'm reading Notorious Nineteen. I've been in a bit of a reading slump and Stephanie Plum, Lula, Grandma Mazur, Morelli and Ranger (oh, Ranger) are a fun, easy way to get back into the books.
It's been frigid in C-bus this week and today we got a little snow, so I'm extremely happy to be toasty warm in front of the fire.
