More Fun with Google Search Words

When Helene said that she and Sarah were doing a link up for how people get to your blog from Google, I didn't think I'd have much to contribute. I'm just a little bitty blogger, plus I posted a few of these last month. But whoa, Nellie! In just the past week I've gotten some doozies.

Obviously, most of them have to do with "gila monster," but just wait till the end when I have one that does not.

"gila monster themed restaurants" - Well, I do talk about restaurants a lot, and in doing my own search found that there used to be a Gila Monster Restaurant in Wisconsin, but it closed in 1999. Bummer. But of course, there is Adobe Gila's, which I pretend is "mine."

"elizabeth gila wittenberg" - Wittenberg is my alma mater, and I've had the name Elizabeth in a post or two, but...???

"is a gila monster eatable [sic]" - I don't even want to know.

"gila monsters kissing each other" - When I typed this in to Google, besides my own blog, the next listing was for an article about how the saliva of the Gila monster may be effective in staving off food cravings. (I'm going to state the obvious here: not MY saliva.) I hope that typing this in would lead you to this picture:

Awwwww...Spidey and Gila sittin' in a tree...

But here is the winner.

"tattoo ideas for dead grandma that loved bingo" - OK. I did a post for my grandma on her 95th birthday. She loves Bingo. She does not, to my knowledge, have a tattoo, but I do. So I totally see how you'd get to my blog by typing in those words. But who's the psycho tattooing a dead grandma?

And now, a never-before-seen-on-this-blog photo of Grandma Elmo (thank God she doesn't get on the Internet or you'd be looking for tattoos for dead Gila):

Never taking her eyes off the cards OR her hand off the cake.

  5. Hahaha! The last one is the best. I love when people post their search words! I get most of my hits from people searching for Zac Efron. Haha!
