A moment in my day (and a blast from the past)
The theme for Day 9 of Blog Every Day in May is "a moment in your day," and initially I figured I'd use a moment from yesterday, but then something happened this morning. I had to go to the dentist at 8:00 because the night guard I wear due to my lifelong teeth grinding had broken. I know that a lot of people hate going to the dentist, and while sometimes it's certainly not pleasant, I love my dentist. I can't even count the number of dentists closer to my house or work but I've been going to the same office (way out of my way) for 22 years.

My dentist also holds her clinic far away from where I live but I still go out of my way to see her.

Hahah dentist changing is the worst! I had the same one my whole life until I made the mistake of dating the receptionist's son. After we broke up it was just so awkward I had to find a new one!

Thanks for the reminder that I need to go back to the dentist. Ugh. I never minded the dentist until I got my first cavity ever and had to get a filling. The filling wasn't that bad, it was when they cut the corner of my mouth with an instrument and it wouldn't stop bleeding!! :( I'm scarred now!

The more I read about you, the more similar I think we are! I also have a night guard from grinding and I also don't hate the dentist. I like getting my teeth cleaned. Haha!
