We won a major award!

Friday night was Colin and Amy's annual Halloween party. Let me tell you, there were some fabulous costumes! Some of these pictures are mine, some I pilfered from friends' Facebook posts. I wish I had more pictures of the decorations because they really go all out!

As for us, I wanted to go as Judge Doom and Jessica Rabbit (based on Aaron's likeness). We did not do that, instead going in the complete opposite direction for me, which turned out to be a good thing because it was seriously cold Friday night.

It went against every fiber of my being: no makeup or jewelry, except for the brooch. 

And oh, my hair! It drove me nuts.

But...it was worth it because we won a prize for "Most Artistic."
