About Me

Hi, I'm Gwen, also known as the Gila Monster. The story of how I got that nickname is here. Welcome to my blog, where I talk about all kinds of things from my hair to the books I'm reading to more serious issues that get me riled up. I'm a TV addict and a bit of a diva who also loves football and Die Hard.

I live in Columbus, Ohio and have for over half my life, but I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and I'll always be a PA girl. I went to Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where I met my husband Aaron (I sometimes call him Spidey). We're both choir geeks, which is how we met, and to this day we keep ourselves busy with singing.

That's us in New Orleans for our 21st (!) anniversary.

We live in an area called Italian Village and we are in the best neighborhood. For real. We currently have three cats and you can read about them here. We also have four nieces and two nephews who occasionally pop up in my blog posts, including this one.
